The Vines at Bethlehem, a newly developed retirement village in Tauranga, have announced that construction on their clubhouse is set to be completed in December 2021. What makes The Vines Clubhouse special is the location. It is set in the Mills Reef winery building, an iconic landmark in the Bay of Plenty.
The winery’s director Tim Preston is pleased that the building will remain an integral part of the location as it moves from a winery to a retirement village, saying “we think it’s fantastic it is being retained”. Work began on The Vines at Bethlehem retirement village back in 2016 and the project is ongoing. There are currently over 100 villas completed, with many more on the way for new residents to join the community.
The Vines Clubhouse will be the heart of the retirement community, allowing residents to come together to socialise and take part in a raft of activities. The building will cover 2000sqm and feature a gymnasium, swimming pool, and spa for plenty of ways to exercise. It will also house a library, theatre, hairdressing and wellness space, and a resident workshop. Relaxed living areas will provide a pleasant setting for residents to catch up and unwind.
The Vines at Bethlehem is a sophisticated retirement community located in the desirable Tauranga area, a popular spot for retirees thanks to the lovely weather and nearby beaches. They offer state of the art villas with both standalone and duplex options available. The homes come in two or three-bedroom layouts with room for family and friends to stay.
