In the opinion of BRANZ Aluplast uPVC windows and doors, if used, designed, installed and maintained in accordance with the statements and conditions of the Appraisal met the provisions of the NZBC.
Aluplast uPVC windows and doors are a range of double and triple-glazed window and door joinery units for use in residential and light commercial buildings. The uPVC is a tropical formulation for use in countries with high UV levels, such as New Zealand, and testing has been carried out on the joinery by an IANZ accredited laboratory, and meets all requirements of NZ 4211.
BRANZ durability experts have reviewed overseas test data for Aluplast uPVC, and have also considered the history of use of Aluplast uPVC in New Zealand and overseas. In the opinion of BRANZ Aluplast uPVC windows and doors is fit for purpose and will comply with the Building Code to the extent specified in the Appraisal, provided it is used, designed, installed and maintained as set out in the Appraisal.
