Uplift in Kind is about giving children and their families access to uplifting experiences when going through a traumatic event, or struggling with an illness. Because of this amazing work INFLITE, Skydive Abel Tasman, Skydive Franz & Fox Glaciers, Skydive Mt Cook and Mt Cook Ski Planes and Helicopters have teamed up with Uplift in Kind to give these kids and their families such experiences!
Last weekend Skydive Abel Tasman took to the skies to give Dayna, a CanTeen Aotearoa client who had been doing it tough, a very special experience. Skydive Abel Tasman sent her up to 13,000ft over the Abel Tasman National Park, and Dayna experienced a 20 minute scenic fight, taking in sights of Golden Bay and the beautiful spit, Mt Taranaki up on the north island and the turquoise oceans lined by golden beaches, before she experienced the thrill of freefalling.
INFLITE Experiences feel so fortunate that they can give these children and their families such amazing experiences, especially in some of their darkest times. They support many charities and welcome those wanting to raise money for other charities like Cancer Society and Red Cross to contact the charity and learn how you can skydive whist raising funds for an amazing cause.
