Following a year facing the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic during 2020, the team at The Wardrobe Company (www.thewardrobecompany.co.nz) looks forward to continuing to work with its valued clients in 2021.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the inception of what has evolved into New Zealand’s largest, most innovative, and progressive independent provider of bespoke wardrobe and storage systems. The company has expanded from what the Americans refer to as a ‘Mom and Pop’ business run from a home base to The Wardrobe Company of today with 20 team members working from spacious modern premises in the centrally located Wairau Valley industrial precinct.

Their ground floor showroom provides clients with the opportunity to see and touch the latest in layouts and materials comprising the sophisticated designs and quality componentry which comprise the wardrobe and storage solutions available from The Wardrobe Company.

Early last century Henry Ford offered his Model T motorcar to buyers in “any colour you want, as long as it’s black”. In similar vein, in the early 1990’s the business which has become The Wardrobe Company offered its wardrobe shelving products in ‘any colour you want, as long as it’s white’!

How things have changed! Nowadays there are a myriad of colours and finishes offered which are regularly updated to take account of fashion trends and customer preference.

Likewise, the hardware components utilized by The Wardrobe Company have further developed to include soft-closing drawers and a vast array of accessories.

The Wardrobe Company continues to be at the forefront of design innovation and consistent quality. And, of course, there really is no substitute for experience – 30 years of it!
